Students in Mrs Bekkum, Mrs Steines, Mrs Maki, and Mrs Pekarek's classroom enjoyed using virtual reality goggles last week. Students got to see penguins, polar bears, seals, walruses and other arctic animals up close with the VR goggles.

The Early Learning Center provides a well-rounded 4K experience where children learn through play, build early literacy skills, and explore creativity and movement. Through family partnerships, hands-on STEM activities, makerspace learning, and active play in our indoor gym, students grow socially, academically, and emotionally, building a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond.
Literacy
At the Early Learning Center, 4K students build early literacy skills through play-based learning. Children develop letter knowledge, vocabulary, and a love of reading in a supportive environment that prepares them for kindergarten success.
Play
Play is at the heart of learning at the Early Learning Center. Our 4K students grow and explore through hands-on, play-based activities that build curiosity, social skills, and foundational academic thinking. In a nurturing environment, children discover, interact, and learn through meaningful play that supports the whole child and prepares them for future school success.
Family Connections
Family involvement is a vital part of the Early Learning Center experience. We partner with parents as their child’s first and most important teachers, offering fun parent-child activities to strengthen learning at school and at home.
Specials
Our 4K program offers exciting specialty experiences beyond the classroom. Students explore hands-on learning through LEGO-style STEM play, enjoy physical activity in our indoor gym, and tap into creativity and problem-solving in makerspace-inspired activities, all designed to deepen curiosity and support growth in fun, engaging ways.
