Four-Year-Old Kindergarten
4K students at the Early Learning Center (ELC) attend school five half-days per week, either in the morning or the afternoon. Morning session runs from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and afternoon session runs from 12:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. The ELC follows the Sheboygan Area School District 4K calendar for all scheduled vacations and days off.
Children learn most effectively at this age through social play. Most academic and social skills necessary for success in kindergarten and subsequent years of education are addressed through organized activities in centers around the classroom.
Math

- Writes first and last name
- Will write to show meaning (journaling)
